It is ഏഴേഴു = ഏഴ് + ഏഴ് = seven seven, literally = seven times seven = 49.
In theory, we can now construct words with any number of consecutive ഴs in this manner. E.g.
ഏഴേഴേഴു = 7 cubed = 213.

Yes, വ്യാഴാഴ്ച has two ഴ's next to each other (At least we can say 1-1/2). പഴമൊഴി has two ഴ's but they are not next to each other.
